“Since prostheses can be of two types (fixed or removable), their care will differ slightly. Removable prostheses, such as dental plates, need to be thoroughly cleaned after each meal to remove any food residues. Meanwhile, fixed prostheses do not require such attention – care for them as you would your own teeth. Additionally, I recommend having oral hygiene performed at least every 6 months.”
